Crop PDF FAQ

How do I crop a PDF?

Upload the PDF, drag the crop box over the area you want to keep (or enter margins), choose all pages or one page, then click Crop PDF & Download.

How do I remove white margins from a PDF?

Choose Remove white margins automatically. PDFtip finds the content on each page and crops away the empty border, keeping a small space if you want.

Does cropping reduce quality?

No. Text and graphics are not re-rendered, so they stay sharp and searchable.

Is the cropped content deleted?

Cropping hides everything outside the crop box and changes the page size. The hidden parts are not shown or printed, but they remain in the file, so do not use cropping to remove sensitive information.

Can I crop just one page?

Yes. Go to the page, set the crop box and choose Only page N under Apply to.
